Kabi Lungchuk : 17km. from Gangtok amidst the cover of dense forest, this is a Historical place where treaty of blood brotherhood between the Lepcha chief Te-kung­Tek & the Bhutia chief Khey-Bum-Sar was signed ritually.

Phensong Monastery : Situated on the gentle slope stretching from Kabi to Phodong with perhaps one of the best landscape in the region. Built on 1721 during the time of Jigme Pawo, under the Nyingmapa order was gutted by fire in1947 and rebuilt in 1948,

Phodong Monastery :Located approximately 38km. from Gangtok it is one of the 6 major Monasteries in Sikkim. It is a Karma Kagyu Monastery of Phodong built in 1740- famous for intricate murals that adorn its walls.

Labrang Monastery : 4km. beyond Phodong is the recently renovated - Labrang Monastery unique in its architectural design.

Mangan : Northern Headquarter of Sikkim is Mangan. 0ne can take a break here for Lunch or Tea.

Singhik : This place offers one of the most spectacular views of Mt. Khangchendzongha and its range. A well located Tourist Lodge provides accommodation for visitors.

Chungthang : Chungthang is a small town full of legend located on the confluence of Lachen and Lachung Chu and the starting point of River Tista. This is the nodal junction for the two passes Lachen and Lachung and also rich in bio diversity with a large variety of Orchids, Plants and Wild life’s. 95km. from Gangtok. One can visit the Holy Guru Lhedo to see the foot & palm prints left behind by the patron Saint. Chungtha is believed to have been blessed by Guru Rimpoche.

Lachung : 23km. from Chungthang, Lachung is a Bhutia village with a unique local self governing body called the Zumsa which substitutes the Panchayet. The village at a height of 8600ft. spread out on either side of Lachung Chu, has managed to retain its unique culture and tradition. Lachung Monastery, the cottage industries for handicrafts are the places to visit. Lachung is also the night halt point for visitors who want to explore Yumthang valley.

Yumthang : At an elevation of 11,8OOft. And 140km. from Gangtok, [24km from Lachung]. Yumthang is a Paradise for nature lovers with a breathtaking scenic grandview. The vally is also the home for Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary with 33 species of flowers. Yumtharig Tsa-Chu is the Hot Spring on the left bank of Lachung Chu is immensely popular for its curative properties and healing power. Yumthang also offers the views of a stunning array of peaks with Pauhunri and Shundu Tsenpa proving the most majestic.

Yumesamdong : 15km. from Yumthang valley at an altitude of 15,300 ft. Yumesandong is an area where the sweet fragrance of Azelia permeates the air.

Lachen : Situated at an altitude of 9000ft.29km from Chungthang. Lachen stands on a grassy and bush flat from the periphery of which rise the pine clad mountains with their snowy peaks and black cliffs. Lachen village comprises of barely 150 houses earlier inhabited only in winters by their owners who spend the summers on the alpine pastures along the Tibet border tending flocks of Yaks.

Thangu : 30km. from lachen at an altitude of 13000ft. On May & June the valley got carpeted with alpine flowers which are replaced by snow from October to March.

Choeta Valley : At an altitude of 13,200ft. just a 20mins.drive from Thangu, this valley provides one of the few accessible places in Sikkim where a visitors can actually walk over frozen rivers. Chopta Valley is 4 times larger than Yumthang Valley.

Gurudongmer Lake : At an altitude of 17, 100ft., 30km. from Thangu takes one to this interesting place after the myth of Gurudongmer is believed as reverentially by the Sikhs as by the local Buddhists. The blessed water of this Lake is believed to posses the miraculous power of granting children to issueless couple. The Lake freezes during winters except the one spot which the devout believe has been specially blessed.

Cho-La-Mu Glacier : At an altitude of over 18,000ft. 6km. from Gurudongmen Lake. Takes one to the mair source of River Tista, Chola-Mu.
